We help patients with surgical needs, for example, we pay for urgent medical tests, non-generic medicines, specialist sutures and bandages.
We assist patients who cannot afford post-operative care such as paying for ward attendants, nutrition supplements, special soap to clean wound areas, medical aids such as walking sticks, manual wheelchairs, walkers, gloves, wash towels, and colostomy bags for instance.
We enable the Oncology and Palliative Care unit to provide complementary therapies such as teaching yoga techniques, organise guided meditation sessions, and art therapy using art forms such as drawing, writing and music for psychological support.
We use the arts to aid long-term wellness and healing for patients recovering from cancer.
We make use of the arts to help those who may be terminally ill live better, and more comfortable lives.
Our mission is to improve cancer care in Sri Lanka.
